Julep Farms is a modern farm resort nestled in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, offering a unique blend of Southern hospitality, elevated dining, curated shopping, and serene accommodations. We're looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Restaurant Manager to help oversee our day-to-day operations and ensure our guests receive the exceptional experience we're known for.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, build and train a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role is hands-on and dynamic, combining leadership, operational excellence, and event execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of results, and is passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, cost control, and vendor relationships for the bar
  • Manage scheduling and labor costs

Hiring & Training

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain front- and back-of-house staff
  • Train employees on service standards, policies, and performance expectations
  • Coach and mentor team members to support growth and accountability
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions when necessary

Team Culture & Guest Experience

  • Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture
  • Lead by example with a strong floor presence during service
  • Handle guest feedback, concerns, and resolutions with professionalism
  • Ensure consistent, memorable guest experiences

Events & Special Programs

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing on-site and off-site events
  • Collaborate with ownership and event partners on logistics, staffing, and execution
  • Oversee event setup, service flow, and breakdown to ensure successful outcomes
  • Support promotions, private parties, and special programming as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience (events experience a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and manage diverse teams
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, labor management, and cost control
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and events
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
