Supply Chain Analyst
Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.
Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2016 to provide safe and accessible CBD products for everyone who would benefit from them, regardless of their financial situation and ability to pay, which is why we provide a 60% Assistance Program to veterans and people with disabilities or low-incomes. In order to maintain an affordable price point and our commitment to accessibility for all, we have built a vertically integrated business model, which allows us to walk our talk of developing quality, affordable products - from product inception, development, seed, farming, extraction, finished production formulation and packaging, and distribution.
Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual use THC products. We are on a mission to make THC convenient, affordable, and fun by making a sessionable THC beverage the same price as a beer or soda. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewed by our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit into anyone's lifestyle. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer.
This role will be based in Portland.
Reports To: Director of Supply Chain
Summary: This role owns the design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale supply chain data and systems, enforcing normalization and schema integrity while building automated validation, reconciliation, and forecasting models across inventory, BOM, order flow, and capacity planning. It applies statistical and programmatic analysis to surface risks and inefficiencies, delivers decision-ready insights through alerts and dashboards, and leads tooling and automation across OMS, WMS, TMS, MRP, and BI ecosystems—driving scenario modeling, network and cost-to-serve optimization, carrier and 3PL analytics, and cost-reduction initiatives that tightly connect data, systems, and execution
Duties
- Implement enterprise level data governance across the business: with emphasis on normalization and schema enforcement to maintain data integrity at scale. Develop automated data validation layers (range checks, exception flags, drift detection) and reconciliation logic across systems.
- Rebuild, drive continuous improvement of data models & operating sheets for forecasting, inventory snapshots, order flow, BOM consumption, and capacity planning. Use statistical and programmatic methods to identify patterns, anomalies, shortages, excess, and emerging disruptions. Automate issue and exception alerts and reporting.
- Manage large external datasets (SQL/NoSQL, CSV pipelines, API feeds) and their integration into existing Google Sheets infrastructure to create process automation with strong emphasis on quality, latency, and reliability.
- Create custom applications, scripts, and programs (Python, , Apps Script) to automate recurring processes such as system refreshes, inventory health, schedule simulation and inventory/PO/Work Order reconciliation.
- Build internal tooling for scenario modeling (capacity, cost-to-serve, inventory positioning, freight optimization). Construct and refine demand models, sensitivity analyses, constraint simulations, and multivariate material requirement calculations. Develop seasonality models to support quarterly and annual cost performance targets for key commodities across the Supply Chain.
- Design metric frameworks for OTIF, service levels, lead-time volatility, cost-to-serve, inventory turns, working capital exposure, etc. Build dynamic dashboards (Looker, PowerBI, Google Sheets, custom SQL views) tailored to operations, procurement, finance, and leadership.
- Manage and optimize data across parcel, freight, and 3PL networks. Conduct unit and network level analysis for all distribution operations. Provide insights and dashboards for carrier level performance, invoice auditing, exception reporting and credit provisioning. Manage vendor RFQ's, comparative analysis and associated switching cost recommendations.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives with box selection and automation, and determining the optimal boxes size/thickness in cohesion with box/cushioning RFQ and overall freight spend to reduce freight/corrugate/labor spend while maintaining SLA for delivery timeline and supporting OTIF metrics.
- Lead the implementation, optimization and performance of digital products and systems for Supply Chain Operations: OMS, TMS, WMS, MRP and associated BI reporting. Build, develop and maintain data pipelines connecting ERP modules for unified reporting of disparate datasets- ensuring data governance and system syndication.
- Work in conjunction with floor leadership to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, RFQs, margin and productivity initiatives and strategic supplier management. Developing comprehensive decision matrices to empower Senior leadership to make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related analytical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations, or systems-focused roles within complex, multi-channel, or high-growth environments.
- Deep experience designing and enforcing data models, normalization standards, and governance frameworks across operational systems.
- Strong technical fluency with Excel, SQL and data pipelines, plus hands-on experience building automation and tooling in Python, , and/or Google Apps Script.
- Proven ability to develop forecasting, inventory, BOM, capacity, and scenario models using statistical and programmatic methods.
- Experience working across OMS, WMS, TMS, MRP, ERP, and BI platforms, including system integration, optimization, or re-architecture initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into executive-ready insights, dashboards, and decision frameworks across operations, finance, and procurement.
- Track record of driving cost reduction, service-level improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts, align cross-functional teams, and drive execution across operations, finance, procurement, and leadership.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results through cross-functional collaboration, influencing without authority, and driving cost reduction, service-level improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
