Position: Senior Network Administrator
Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt
Shift Details: 8:00AM - 5:00PM - Monday-Friday
Work Location: Hybrid - Travel Required up to 50%
Salary/Hourly Wage: $95, $110,000.00/year

Summary of Job: The Senior Network Administrator provides both hands-on technical expertise for the IT functions across Recovery Innovations' facilities in 7+ states. This role is responsible for network administration, cybersecurity, system performance, and compliance (HIPAA/HITECH/42 CFR Part 2). The position includes managing vendors and costs effectively and maintaining reliable infrastructure that supports the organization's behavioral health mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaboration & Etiquette:
- Ensure best practices are followed in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Model professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to Recovery Innovations' values and policies.
Network Installation, Maintenance, and Monitoring:
- Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related Windows infrastructure.
- Provide support with cloud environments, windows servers and deployments, network administration, configuration and troubleshooting (NOC).
- Configure and manage Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPNs, firewalls, and security appliances.
- Deploy and maintain VMware, Workspace One, Okta, Jira, and related systems.
Investigate, repair, and recover from hardware or software failures including maintaining and updating disaster recovery procedures in addition to coordinating and communicating with impacted sites and users.
Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Risk Management
- Lead organizational cybersecurity strategy, including risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and 42 CFR Part 2 for data privacy and security.
- Develop and deliver staff security awareness training and technical user guides.
- Be able to monitor, detect issues, and report on third-party, Windows, and mobile applications and devices.
Direct incident response and report to executive leadership on breaches or security events.
Operational Efficiency and Cost Management
- Collaborate with the CAO on cost-effective technology decisions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and affordability of IT services and supplies
- Recommend lifecycle replacements in a cost-conscious manner.
Support documentation, standardization, and process improvements to improve efficiency.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Provide onsite technical support for system investigations at crisis facilities.
- Support integrations for EHR platforms and telehealth.
- Support multiple sites in 7+ states.
Collaborate with operational and administrative leaders to align IT systems with operational needs.
Additional Duties:
- Additional projects as assigned.

- Education/Licenses:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related field or equivalent work experience in network administration.
- Network Administration certificate preferred
- Microsoft Certified Solution Architect preferred
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
CompTIA Network+ preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years progressive IT experience in network administration or IT systems management.
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Experience supporting multi-site healthcare or behavioral health operation preferred.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following systems: network operating systems, WLAN, Cloud environment, network topologies, network hardware, computer operating systems (Windows), routing, switching, data privacy, security, and telecommunication systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and equivalent networking hardware.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid networking environments.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Expertise in configuring firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances.
- Ability to lead a small technical team while maintaining hands-on technical involvement.
- Strong customer service background
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and make cost-conscious purchasing decisions.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
- Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 65lbs.
Driving Requirements:
- If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations' driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
- Ability to travel between facilities across multiple states as required.
- Must be 18 years of older with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
