Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bellows Film Lab Store Manager in to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory control, sales strategies, and administrative functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a creative environment while maintaining efficient store performance.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and promote retail products effectively
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies at all times
  • Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in retail or store environment, preferably with supervisory or assistant manager roles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, bookkeeping, payroll, and retail math
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in training & development and team management
  • Knowledge of merchandising, marketing, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and supervising staff members
  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers for purchasing needs
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, and organizational planning
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
