• Own the local maintenance schedule to keep equipment dependable and ready.
• Perform hands-on repair and service, applying the practices of a skilled maintenance technician.
• Use manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and related documents to guide repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and hydraulic issues within established timeframes.
• Document all work accurately and complete both scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak and hear efficiently; capable of reading, writing, understanding, and giving instructions in English.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Strong organization and time management to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of fluid types; diesel-powered machines and tools—their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Professional discretion with confidential information.
• Tact and professionalism with colleagues and client representatives at all levels.
• Proven use of standard and specialty tools and test equipment (e.g., photo tachometer, diagnostic tools and hardware, scanners, meters).
• Valid driver's license.

Candidates must have their own basic set of tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" in size and up to 1/2" drive.

Expect a physically strenuous setting with prolonged standing and exposure to noise (sometimes excessive), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, and fluctuating temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.

• Use of hands for handling tools and controls; reaching with hands and arms; ability to speak and hear efficiently.
