As a Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Technician with Inland Deicing Services, LLC, you make sure every vehicle and piece of ground service equipment is safe, reliable, and ready so our carrier customers can depart on time—no matter the weather. Our sole focus is the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of deicing and anti-icing services.

- Own the local maintenance schedule to keep equipment dependable and ready.
- Perform hands-on repair and service, applying the practices of a skilled maintenance technician.
- Use manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and related documents to guide repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and hydraulic issues within established timeframes.
- Document all work accurately and complete both scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old.
- Ability to speak and hear efficiently; capable of reading, writing, understanding, and giving instructions in English.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Strong organization and time management to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of fluid types; diesel-powered machines and tools—their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Professional discretion with confidential information.
- Tact and professionalism with colleagues and client representatives at all levels.
- Proven use of standard and specialty tools and test equipment (e.g., photo tachometer, diagnostic tools and hardware, scanners, meters).
- Valid driver's license.
Candidates must have their own basic set of tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" in size and up to 1/2" drive.
Work EnvironmentExpect a physically strenuous setting with prolonged standing and exposure to noise (sometimes excessive), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, and fluctuating temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.
Physical Demands- Use of hands for handling tools and controls; reaching with hands and arms; ability to speak and hear efficiently.
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
