Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve wine, beer, water, soda, coffee, tea, and small bites accurately according to recipes and guest preferences
• Use POS systems such as Square to process orders swiftly and accurately
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity and attention to detail
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware to ensure readiness for service
• Handle food handling responsibilities when serving food or catering at events such as banquets or private parties
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety on premises
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or food service environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Square is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink mixing measurements
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for event-based service roles
• Experience working in the food industry with retail math skills beneficial for inventory management
• Hospitality background with an understanding of brewing processes or beverage preparation is advantageous

Pay: $ $13.98 per hour
