We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is vital in ensuring the timely preparation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
• Assist in menu planning and daily food preparation tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Handle food safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances
• Assist with plating dishes for presentation and quality control
• Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide in a restaurant or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience with menu planning, fine dining presentation, and catering is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the food industry standards, including sanitation and safety regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen as needed
