Job Introduction

Are you ready to make a real difference? Join us at Nottingham County as we embark on an exciting new journey to develop a groundbreaking service that supports individuals with complex mental health needs.

Welcome to Wood Street, a supported living service dedicated to providing accommodation and support for people with dual diagnoses, histories of drug and/or alcohol use, and/or forensic backgrounds. If you’re passionate about empowering others, this is your chance to help individuals gain the skills they need to live independently.

As a Team Leader at Turning Point, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming lives. You’ll work closely with individuals to help them achieve their potential while being part of a supportive team that values growth and collaboration.

Role Responsibilities

In your role as Team Leader, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and enhance our service.
  • Provide line management to a dedicated team of Recovery Workers.
  • Ensure we meet and exceed outcomes and quality requirements that promote independence and recovery.
  • Oversee referrals to the service and work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for those we support.
The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A background in coordinating support for vulnerable individuals in the community.
  • Experience in service planning and meeting contractual requirements.
  • A solid understanding of mental health needs, with a preference for experience in dual-diagnoses.
  • A person-centred approach and the ability to prioritize your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, a flexible recovery-focused mindset, and a positive attitude.
