Salary: Starting at £55,000+, based on your skills and experience.
Your Mission:As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our contract activities. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Contract Support: Draft and negotiate complex terms and conditions, ensuring BAE Systems' interests are safeguarded.
- Business Winning: Oversee all contract aspects related to securing new business.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure all contract activities align with BAE Systems' Operational Framework and commercial processes.
- Collaboration: Act as the commercial interface with Procurement, ensuring smooth flow-down of contract requirements.
- Status Reviews: Support Contract and Bid Status Reviews to clarify ongoing commercial activities.
- Customer Engagement: Interface with both domestic and international customers.
We’re looking for someone who brings the following:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as Law.
- Proven track record in commercial management within major projects or complex programs.
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing intricate contracts with various stakeholders.
- A strong grasp of bid management processes and experience in business-winning activities.
- Familiarity with commercial governance frameworks, including Request for Bid Approval.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Estimating, and Project Management.
