*Position: PRN Occupational Therapist*
*Oasis Therapy Services* is seeking a *PRN Occupational Therapist *to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!.
*Primary Job Responsibilities:*
* To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiates referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
* To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
* To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
* Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
* Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
* Guide and educate family members and caregivers
* Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals
*Skills*
* Proven working experience as occupational therapist
* Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
* Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)
* Valid license to practice occupational therapy
* BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
