Main Purpose of Role We are looking for a strategic and forward‑thinking Digital Content Strategy Manager with a strong grasp of digital platforms, content planning, and performance marketing to lead our digital content efforts across the Dimplex and Xpelair brands. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will develop and execute a joined‑up content strategy across web, social media and CRM, ensuring consistency, relevance and alignment with brand and business objectives. You will enhance our digital presence, improve website UX and drive engagement through targeted, data‑driven campaigns.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and execute a holistic digital content strategy across web, social media and CRM, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand and business objectives.
Collaborate closely with channel marketing managers, product managers and cross‑functional teams to support overall brand and channel‑specific goals.
Oversee website content planning, optimisation and user journey mapping to drive engagement and conversion, ensuring content is optimised for AI‑enhanced search engines and digital assistants.
Coordinate and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely, relevant and brand‑aligned messaging across platforms.
Coordinate and manage the CRM campaign calendar, delivering targeted, data‑driven communications that support customer engagement and retention.
Work with external agencies to execute and evaluate digital campaigns and content, ensuring high‑quality output and strategic alignment.
Embed SEO best practices across all digital content and web assets, with a forward‑looking approach to AI‑led search evolution.
Oversee PPC activity (including Google Ads and paid social), ensuring campaigns align with content strategy and performance objectives.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics across digital channels, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Integrate digital content planning with broader marketing campaigns, product launches and brand initiatives.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in developing and executing digital content strategies across web, social media and CRM platforms.
Experience in content marketing and planning for technical products and solutions, product launches and customer engagement campaigns.
Experience within electrical, HVAC, construction, housing or building services industries.
Collaborative cross‑functional experience with marketing, product, technical and customer experience teams.
Strong understanding of SEO, PPC and performance marketing, with demonstrable success in driving engagement and conversion.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and planning skills, aligning content with business and brand objectives.
Ability to translate technical product features into customer‑centric messaging.
Strong analytical skills, interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable improvements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, maintaining brand tone and consistency.
Proficiency in digital tools such as CMS platforms, CRM systems and analytics dashboards.
Flexible in a fast‑paced environment, building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing skills.
Managing external agencies and partners to deliver campaign objectives.
Desirable Criteria
A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
A passion for sustainability and knowledge of decarbonisation and energy efficiency trends and regulations in the UK.
Familiarity with AI‑driven search trends, including conversational search, structured data and semantic optimisation.
Travel You may occasionally be required to travel across the UK to visit customers and attend events.
