Salary: Earn up to £76,200, depending on your skills and experience, plus an executive package that rewards your contributions.
What You’ll Be Doing:As a Combat Systems Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of combat technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting MarLabs analysis tasks by identifying and scoping the technical support needed to deliver results, while facilitating discussions across teams.
- Collaborating with MarLabs Operational Analysts to ensure our analysis accurately represents the performance and capabilities of various Combat System equipment.
- Leveraging your personal experience to provide technical insights on current and near-future capabilities in sense, decide, and effect, with a focus on real-world limitations.
- Contributing to MarLabs modeling and wargaming activities, offering your subject matter expertise where needed.
- Providing insights into typical combat platform operations and the application of various capabilities within this context.
- Conducting targeted research to support MarLabs Operational Analysis, engaging with academia and industry to address knowledge gaps and develop long-term technology roadmaps.
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
- A degree (or equivalent) with relevant professional experience in engineering, defense, or combat systems.
- Deep expertise in combat systems.
- A robust engineering background that supports the analysis, development, and integration of complex defense systems.
- The ability to challenge established norms and apply innovative thinking to problem-solving.
- Strong experience in engaging senior stakeholders and building trusted, mutually beneficial relationships.
