Salary: Starting at £47,017+ (Dependent on Experience)
Your Mission:As a SHE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) strategy. Your expertise will help us meet our operational goals while ensuring compliance with international standards. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain our SHE strategy, aligning it with BAE Systems Operational Framework and international standards like ISO45001 and ISO14001.
- Enhance SHE practices across multiple business areas, providing expert advice on risk management and compiling performance reports.
- Lead innovative SHE change programs that foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
- Ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements, providing assurance across business areas.
- Monitor effectiveness and report on SHE initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
Essential:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
- Proven experience advising on SHE matters with a solid understanding of legislation.
- Strong incident/accident investigation skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with COSHH and/or Occupational Hygiene.
- Lead Auditor ISO 14001/45001 certification.
- Background in a manufacturing environment.
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or working towards it).
