Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
What You’ll Be Doing:As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) performance across various sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving Improvements: Lead proactive risk-reduction initiatives, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure robust implementation of policies and management systems.
- Championing Innovation: Support transformational change programs that embed continuous improvement and strengthen risk management.
- Engaging Stakeholders: Influence and coach stakeholders at all levels to integrate SHE considerations into decision-making and project planning.
- Providing Assurance: Deliver clear, evidence-based compliance assessments and enable leaders to take decisive action.
- Managing Deliverables: Oversee workload, budgets, and timelines while providing insightful reporting to senior stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table:
- Hold one or more QCF/NQF Level 6 (or higher) qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma, relevant Health/Environmental Degree, or equivalent.
- Experience in applying health and safety knowledge within complex operational environments, with a proven track record of leading improvements.
- Strong understanding of contractor management, governance, and assurance.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end risk-reduction projects, bringing together diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify emerging issues and take ownership.
