System Design Authority Engineering System (Preston)

Salary: £61,110+ depending on experience

• Defining Solution Architecture: Craft the architecture and design for projects that meet business and system requirements while adhering to cost and time constraints.
• Capturing Architectures: Define the current and future application, data, and technology architectures for assigned projects.
• Ensuring Quality: Assure that the overall functional and technical design of the solution is acceptable and fit for purpose.
• Providing Design Leadership: Lead the IM&T solution design and collaborate with 3rd parties and product teams to ensure effective communication.
• Liaising with Suppliers: Work closely with internal and external IM&T suppliers and product teams.
• Supporting Project Managers: Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project plans, review estimates, and identify schedules.

Essential:

• Proven experience in the design, development, testing, and release of Information Systems.
• Strong skills in incident and problem management.
• Effective stakeholder management, influencing local organizations, customers, suppliers, partners, and peers.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Desirable:

• Architecture qualification such as TOGAF.
• Additional industry qualifications like BCS.
