Job Summary:
Join our dynamic warehouse team in Des Moines, Iowa, as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. This role encompasses a wide range of warehouse duties, ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively from receipt to dispatch. You'll be involved in essential tasks like receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, playing a crucial part in our supply chain. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Stock and organize products within the warehouse according to established procedures.
  • Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick sheets or RF scanners.
  • Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for qualified candidates).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
  • Wear and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety.
