We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This position is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt through to dispatch. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role provides a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics operation in the heart of the city.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace according to safety standards.
- Utilize all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics best practices is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
