Join our vibrant logistics team in San Diego, California, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for motivated individuals who can efficiently select and package orders for our customers. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work closely with our warehouse management system to locate items, prepare them for shipment, and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking and reporting.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed within the logistics flow.
- Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Good stamina for standing, walking, and repetitive Lifting.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Understanding of Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics is a plus.
