Join our bustling logistics hub in Los Angeles, California, as an Order Picker ! We are searching for dedicated and energetic individuals to fulfill customer orders with speed and accuracy. As an Order Picker, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment process, responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering correct products in a timely manner. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to upholding stringent safety standards within our warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from designated storage areas based on order slips or RF scanner.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Stage completed orders in the correct consolidation and shipping zones.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety .
- Mandatory use of provided PPE , including safety footwear and eye protection, is required.
- This position requires consistent movement, including walking and bending, and may involve Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Play a key role in our efficient Logistics operations by ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse picking or packing role is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret pick lists and RF scanner data accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting for prolonged periods.
- Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Must be reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- A proactive approach to safety and following instructions.
