As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and goods throughout the facility. This role is essential to our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is transported accurately and without damage. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, moving pallets of goods, stacking items in designated areas, and performing routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure they are in good working order. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform Lifting of heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
