Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This critical role involves conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and managing inventory data within our warehouse management system (WMS). You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize stock levels. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Key responsibilities include identifying root causes of inventory errors, recommending corrective actions, and training warehouse staff on inventory best practices. You will also assist in receiving and shipping processes as needed to ensure smooth operations. This role involves some physical activity, including occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs, and requires the use of safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A commitment to safety and efficiency in all aspects of inventory management is essential.
