Our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility is looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing goods. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking received items, and preparing outgoing shipments. Key duties include accurately documenting all incoming and outgoing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized receiving and shipping area, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth logistics operations. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control is essential. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery. Adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are paramount. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
