Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to Safety standards. This role is critical for managing our Logistics operations, optimizing workflow, and leading a team to achieve operational goals. You will be responsible for staff management, inventory control, and maintaining a secure and organized facility. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Train and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency within our Logistics network.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, Logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.
  • Proficiency in Safety protocols and ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to manage staff effectively and drive performance.
  • Experience with inventory control and optimization.
  • Capability for problem-solving and decision-making.
