We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your precision in picking and handling products directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. You will navigate the warehouse using order documents or RF scanners, ensuring that all items are picked correctly and staged for packing. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe working environment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing and staging areas using appropriate equipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for order picking.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
- Work collaboratively with the packing and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent Lifting, bending, and reaching, often with items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
