À propos

The Lead DevOps CI/CD Engineer is responsible for architecting, operating, and continuously improving the CI/CD ecosystem that enables fast, secure, and reliable software delivery across the organization. This role drives pipeline scalability, automation maturity, platform modernization, and operational excellence. The engineer partners with development, QA, architecture, IT, and product teams to ensure the CI/CD platform accelerates engineering productivity while meeting enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable CI/CD pipelines that support large, complex codebases and multiple product teams.
  • Continuously optimize build, test, and release workflows through parallelization, caching, artifact reuse, and modern tooling.
  • Ensure pipelines meet performance and availability targets, enabling consistent and predictable delivery.
  • Develop and enforce standards for branching, tagging, versioning, build frameworks, and artifact management.
  • Establish consistent release processes across teams to reduce fragmentation, variability, and operational risk.
  • Maintain high levels of traceability and audit readiness throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across provisioning, configuration management, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
  • Lead the adoption of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) and modern automation frameworks to ensure repeatability, consistency, and reduced manual effort.
  • Remove operational toil by codifying repeatable processes across CI/CD and supporting infrastructure.
  • Integrate security scanning, dependency validation, license/IP compliance, vulnerability detection, and policy enforcement directly into CI/CD workflows.
  • Align CI/CD systems with enterprise IT governance, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain secure credential, secret, and access management across the entire pipeline.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and resource availability. Partner with development, QA, architecture, product, and IT teams to understand needs and provide effective CI/CD tooling and capabilities.
  • Reduce friction between teams by enabling shared tooling, clear processes, documentation, and intuitive onboarding experiences.
  • Serve as a technical leader and mentor for DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
