General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in quick service and fast food restaurants, as well as fine dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, food management, and team development.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
• Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance.
• Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Develop budgets and manage financial performance to achieve business goals.
• Supervise kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and production processes.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
• Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a skilled workforce.
• Address customer service issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate catering events, banquets, and bar services as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles.
• Strong background in culinary experience with knowledge of food handling practices.
• Experience with shift management and supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight within the hospitality sector.
• Previous roles may include assistant manager experience or kitchen management experience in casual dining or fine dining settings.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on training & development of staff members.
• Background in hospitality management is preferred, along with experience in coffee or barista services. Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
