Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Goodness Caregiver Network provides skilled nursing

care and clinical support to children and elderly clients in accordance with Mississippi state

regulations. This role is essential in ensuring safe, high-quality medical care while reinforcing

our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Deliver nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician in compliance with

Mississippi Nurse Practice Act

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed

• Perform routine clinical assessments and monitor vital signs

• Observe and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly

• Assist with care plan development and implementation

• Educate caregivers and families on health needs, medications, and care procedures

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Mississippi (required)

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

• Experience with pediatric or geriatric populations preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills

• Compassionate approach to patient care
