About the Role
We're looking for a
Sales Development Representative
to help build and scale our outbound and inbound pipeline.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
research-driven outreach
, thoughtful conversations with leaders, and learning how enterprise sales actually work. You'll work closely with the founder and leadership team, get deep exposure to real customer conversations, and play a critical role in shaping MemoMate's go-to-market motion.
What You'll Do
Pipeline & Prospecting
- Identify and research target accounts in senior living, healthcare, and enterprise services
- Prospect into roles such as Executive Directors, COOs, HR leaders, VPs of Quality, and Innovation leaders
- Run multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) with personalized messaging
- Qualify inbound leads from conferences, partnerships, and website inquiries
Discovery & Qualification
- Conduct first-touch discovery calls to understand prospect needs, workflows, and priorities
- Qualify opportunities using clear criteria (use case, urgency, scale, decision-makers)
- Set high-quality meetings for the sales/founder team
- Maintain accurate notes and updates in the CRM
Sales Support & Deal Execution
- Support the sales process by:
- Sending follow-up emails and materials
- Coordinating demos and meetings
- Helping prepare proposals and agreements
- Helping prepare for conferences
- Stay involved post-meeting to ensure momentum and follow-through
Conferences & Field Exposure
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events alongside the team
- Help manage inbound leads at events and follow up post-conference
- Join on-site customer visits to understand real-world operations and workflows
- Represent MemoMate professionally in front of prospects and partners
Learning & Improvement
- Learn MemoMate's product deeply across surveys, hiring, and inbound use cases
- Continuously refine messaging based on what resonates with operators
- Share feedback from prospects to improve positioning and outreach
- Track performance and iterate on what works
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently booking qualified meetings with relevant decision-makers
- Building a healthy pipeline that converts into pilots and customers
- Running professional, confident first conversations with senior leaders
- Becoming a trusted extension of the sales team
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with senior leaders and asking thoughtful questions
- Organized, reliable, and able to follow up consistently
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn a complex product and industry
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Experience in B2B SaaS, healthcare, or senior living
- Experience with CRM tools
- Experience with cold outreach or sales development
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for conferences and on-site visits
- Interest in growing into a closing or leadership role over time
