The Position:
The Assistant Operations Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational execution of assigned client, area, and/or shift. Including effective labor schedule, flow, efficiencies, supervision, and proper utilization of space, equipment, and resources.
The compensation range for this position is $75K-$90K, depending on experience.
This shift works 7:00am- 3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Accountable for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the warehouse for assigned client, area, and/or shift in the areas of staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Manage all distribution services of assigned client, area, and/or shift, which may include receiving, storing, shipping, handling return/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements and/or KPIs, if applicable, are met in an efficient manner.
- Ensure the operation exceeds customers' expectations for service and responsiveness.
- Develop, prioritize and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the warehouse for assigned client, area, and/or shift.
- Identify root cause of Nonconformance Reports and implement Corrective Actions Report as needed for assigned client, area, and/or shift.
