We are currently looking for a Rental Coordinator to join our team and support our forklift and equipment rental operations in our Jacksonville location.

What You'll Do

As a Rental Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth rental experience for our customers by coordinating communication, tracking fleet availability, and managing rental documentation from start to finish.

  • Support customers throughout the entire forklift and equipment rental process
  • Coordinate rental transactions with internal teams including sales, shop, accounting, and transportation
  • Prepare and send rental quotes and rental agreements
  • Maintain records of signed rental agreements and coordinate billing
  • Audit customer invoices weekly to ensure accurate billing and contract compliance
  • Coordinate new customer credit approvals with the accounting team
  • Track rental equipment availability, serial numbers, and physical locations
  • Communicate with shop associates regarding equipment repair status and availability
  • Provide updates to sales staff on rental agreement progress
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the rental department
  • Maintain working knowledge of SSMH equipment and services
  • Communicate with customers regarding rental agreement compliance
  • Provide support for customer reporting, fleet status, and invoice inquiries
  • Meet regularly with management regarding rental fleet activity
  • Deliver professional and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Occasionally assist with staging equipment and operate a forklift as needed

  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude with flexibility to adapt to change

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in business administration preferred
  • Familiarity with order entry or rental software preferred
  • Previous industrial or equipment rental experience highly desirable
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • In-office position based in Jacksonville
