Become a key player in our warehouse operations as an Order Picker in Raleigh, North Carolina. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires focus, efficiency, and a commitment to accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. As an Order Picker, you are vital to the timely and correct dispatch of goods within our extensive logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select specified items from warehouse stock according to order tickets.
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping stations.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use all designated PPE .
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to handle lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
