Job Summary:
We are searching for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role requires a blend of technical ability and warehouse operational knowledge. You will be responsible for maintaining warehouse equipment, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse machinery and a strong focus on Safety and efficiency. This is a key position for ensuring the integrity and productivity of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the management and organization of inventory, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Safety regulations and company standards.
  • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) within the team.
  • Support receiving and shipping processes as needed.
  • Contribute to the optimization of warehouse layout and workflows for improved logistics.
  • Document maintenance activities and inventory adjustments.
  • Requires the ability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 70 lbs, and operate machinery.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse technician, maintenance worker, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be committed to adhering to all Safety requirements, including correct PPE usage.
  • Physical ability for tasks including manual dexterity, reaching, and moderate Lifting.
  • Experience in logistics operations is highly valued.
