As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for maneuvering various types of forklifts to transport, stack, load, and unload materials. Your attention to detail and commitment to Safety are paramount, as you'll be working closely with products and ensuring the security of our warehouse environment. You must strictly follow all company Safety protocols and wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires excellent operational skills, a keen understanding of load capacities, and the ability to navigate busy warehouse aisles. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from racking and designated areas.
- Stack and retrieve products from high levels safely.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow precise instructions for order fulfillment and put-away processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall Safety.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a demanding logistics environment.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting and repetitive motion.
- Strong spatial awareness and ability to judge distances.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Team-player attitude and good communication skills.
