We are hiring a dynamic Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving inventory, accurate picking of items, careful packing of goods, and preparing shipments for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort incoming merchandise, checking for discrepancies.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment sheets.
- Inspect products for quality before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label all packages accurately for shipping carriers.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Consistently wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Understanding of inventory management and logistics operations is a plus.
