Are you looking for a dynamic role in a growing logistics operation? We are hiring an Order Picker for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves, verifying product information, and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety standards. You will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations using an order list or scanner.
- Verify product identification, quantity, and quality against order requirements.
- Package selected items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for consolidation and shipping.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on workplace Safety .
- Proper use of required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves, is essential.
- This role involves significant walking and may require Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute positively to our Logistics team and help achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
