Job Summary:
Join our team as an Order Picker in Durham, North Carolina, and play a vital role in our distribution process. You will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to working safely within a fast-paced logistics environment. As an Order Picker, you will ensure that the right items are gathered efficiently, contributing to timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction. Your work directly impacts the smooth operation of our warehouse and the success of our supply chain. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick and gather products based on customer orders, using scanning devices or pick sheets.
  • Locate items within the warehouse efficiently, adhering to designated picking paths.
  • Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
  • Ensure that picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Prepare picked items for the next stage of the fulfillment process (packing/shipping).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as directed, such as cycle counting.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
  • Must be capable of regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, and Lifting.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety principles.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for working in the logistics industry.
