Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials from trucks.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas or production areas using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts (certification may be required or provided).
- Scan and record inventory quantities and location data accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific instructions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage, considering the weight and size which may involve significant Lifting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. Familiarity with scanning equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Must be reliable and punctual. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount.
