We are hiring an Order Picker for our bustling warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately retrieving products to fulfill customer orders, directly impacting our logistics operations. You'll navigate the warehouse using order lists or scanners to locate and collect specified items. The ability to work efficiently and accurately is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Read pick orders and use RF scanners to locate items.
- Retrieve items from shelves and bins according to order specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities before picking.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment accuracy and speed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent stamina and ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills.
