We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials in a warehouse environment. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods. You will be working in a fast-paced setting, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment before use, identifying and reporting any damages or malfunctions, and adhering strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures. The Forklift Operator will also assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing the warehouse, maintaining cleanliness, and performing inventory counts. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, is preferred. A valid forklift certification is required.
