Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Raleigh, North Carolina! We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to manage the movement of materials throughout our warehouse. This role is crucial to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that products are organized, tracked, and ready for distribution. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Transporting materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Stocking shelves and organizing inventory accurately.
  • Picking and packing orders with precision and efficiency.
  • Preparing shipments for transit, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently, with proper training and certification.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Understanding and following all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
