We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments according to strict guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify incoming inventory against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately document all received and shipped items in our inventory management system.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet shipping deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and safety.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock takes as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
