Join our fast-paced logistics center in Houston, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to efficiently pick and pack customer orders. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment, directly impacting our customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our supply chain. This position requires a strong commitment to Safety, and you will be provided with all necessary training and PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use scanning devices and order lists to ensure correct item selection.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and prepare orders for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for domestic and international shipping.
- Stage packed orders in designated areas for carrier pickup.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety protocols and wear mandated PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our warehouse operations and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics is a plus.
