As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment, playing a critical role in our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Pack selected items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are secure for transit.
- Stage picked and packed orders for shipping, following established procedures.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking operations.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our warehouse logistics.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with scanning technology and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
