Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Cincinnati, Ohio! This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our logistics hub, encompassing a variety of tasks that contribute to efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. You'll be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every step. This position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong dedication to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Unload and stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with precision, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
- Contribute to overall team performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
