This position involves significant lifting of materials and requires you to be comfortable working at heights and in various warehouse conditions. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe operating practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Support other warehouse activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
