Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in San Jose, California. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time. You will be involved in a wide range of warehouse activities, contributing to the seamless flow of goods through our logistics network. We prioritize a safe and productive work environment, requiring strict adherence to Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is a significant asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting, standing, and walking.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
