Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for efficiency? We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri. Responsibilities:
- Select correct items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning equipment.
- Accurately pack selected items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages with shipping information and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure picked items match order specifications and are free from damage.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and hand trucks to transport goods.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as assigned by management to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Must possess the physical stamina for continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product labels.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and responsible handling of materials.
