Seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate for our Miami, Florida facility. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics network. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are crucial for success. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, capable of manual labor including significant lifting, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials from trucks.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Stock inventory in assigned locations using proper techniques.
- Pick items for orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification opportunities available).
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory control.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Awareness of warehouse safety best practices and commitment to using PPE.
- Experience with various logistics software is a plus.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to punctuality.
