Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Seattle, Washington! We are seeking a motivated individual to handle the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role is crucial to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving merchandise, verifying counts against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly storing items. On the shipping side, you'll pick, pack, and prepare orders for transit, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for any damage and report discrepancies.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
