Assistant Property Manager

You'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations, high resident satisfaction, and strong leasing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and greet visitors
- Conduct property tours and guide prospects through the leasing process
- Explain lease terms, community policies, and resident responsibilities clearly
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and resident transitions
- Support daily administrative and operational tasks
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and unit turnovers
- Perform property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote vacancies and maximize occupancy
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records within property management software systems
Qualifications:
- Experience in leasing, property management, or residential real estate preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with property management software is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Professional, positive, and approachable demeanor
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay may be higher for candidates with directly relevant experience
